Evaluations are essential to help staff to learn and grow within the position. All evaluations will take into consideration a number of items including (but not limited to):
Informal and formal observations
Following all rules, regulations, policies and procedures set forth in the Project HELP Program Handbook in addition to EIASE’s policies and procedures.
The ability to work cooperatively, to complete required tasks and to work independently when necessary.
Displaying positive, professional interactions with parents, students and staff
Teacher Evaluations will also be based on:
Developmentally appropriate, standard based lesson plans and student interests and abilities derived from assessments in ELS.
Portfolios that are aligned with IELDS
Parent education and communication
ECERS-3 compliant classroom
Adhering to PFA Grant requirements
Turning in all required paperwork into the office in a timely manner.
All documentation will be uploaded in a shared folder in google drive.
*All Non-Tenured Teacher evaluations will be completed by March 1 and Tenured Teacher evaluations will be complete by May 1.
There are two components to the EIASE Teacher Evaluation Plan:
Professional Practice
Teacher Attendance
These components will be used with the following ratios: Professional Practice (90%)/Teacher Attendance (10%).
